SNESPlayer - What is it?

SNESPlayer is an app for the iPhone that plays SNES music. Both *.spc and *.rsn files are playable. RSN files are however the recommended choice since they contain collections of songs. A lot of time has been spent on it working on both iPhone 3G and up to the latest model, the iPhone 4.

You can get it from here on iTunes. If you like it, please write a review. I really appreciate it!

Where can I find music for the player?

My favorite site for this is http://snesmusic.org/. They perform very well in SNESPlayer!

Support e-mail

You can email me if there are any technical problems with the app. The email address is snesplayer@velfolt.se. There are no known technical issues as of now.

Source code and object files

I am using the snes_spc library available from http://slack.net/~ant/libs/audio.html. It uses the LGPL license, which you can find here. I have made some modifications to it, the source code for these changes are available together with the object files of the project here. With the help of these you can relink the application with a new version of the snes_spc library. This is also LGPL.
